filtering in a query (1 Viewer)

trying to self learn and probably because i don't know what i'm looking for cannot find a solution

hoping someone can point me in the right direction

i have a query and want to be able to filter the results based on user selected filter options, the output is a continuous form with a combo boxes (the combo boxes are populated from a table)
i want to run user selected filter options on several fields within the same query

when i run the query it filters as expected but i need it not to filter if there is no selection made

how do i keep the function
(Criteria field in query)
Forms![Standards View]![CboStatus]

but not filter if there is nothing selected
(or do the same thing in a different way)

see what you mean about looking funky, it did insert an extra is null than needed but once i removed that, Worked a dream
