Going thru some files, i found the attached sample that helped me with diplaying a datasheet and subdatasheet (parent/child relationship) in an interface to give the look and feel of ms outlook
as you can see this did not turn out the way i had hoped, and mostly because i couldn't appreciate access's datasheet width Not wanting to adjust with the form's width dynamically, more accurately, i could not figure that out and didn't really want to spend too much time trying to figure it out
the basic idea is to display the parent datasheet with a set of grouped records with it's respective count. this is accomplished by creating a query a concatinating the caption and the count (ie, Priority: High (25), then this woud be source of the datasheet
the subdatasheet would then be changed to display it's pertinent data...
