Hi all! I had a problem with one of my PCs at home just freezing - no BSOD, everything just stopped dead on the desktop. Upon opening the case I found that one of the fans isn't working, but I can't identify it.

It's about 2" in diameter and has a "1-Bit" logo on it. Anyone know what this is? Perhaps the onboard GPU or something?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Just go and get another 50mm CPU fan, they are mostly 12vdc .08-.14 amp. Black and red wires just dont cross them up.

If you posted a picture we could identify it. :p It's probably the GPU fan if it's on the motherboard, attached directly to it. That's usually the only fan attached.

Yeah that's what I thought... I'll nip in to the local PC shop this weekend and see what they've got. Have a fun one all, thanks for the replies!
