I have always felt that there are no stupid questions...answers maybe. :D

Are you referring to the color code number? The Back Color property of the forms "detail" section will display the color number of the current color. Red = 255, Green = 6723891, Yellow = 65535.

There are also VB "Color Constants" for the primary colors. Check the help files for more info on these... vbBlack, vbRed, vbBlue.

Check the help files for the "RGB Function" for info on those color numbers like
Red = RGB(255, 0, 0) ' Return the value for Red

however i am only able to enter numbers as high as 255, do you know how i can do this.

Seek Photoshop... if you really want to make slick custom forms/buttons/menus/etc... its the only way to go....

Good Luck,
