I do have one form based on a query and one form based on a table. Is it possible to collect data (by entering data in the forms) in one table??

Forms

I don't know why you want to do this, but it does not seem logical to me.

Please explain further what you are trying to accomplish.
Most likely you need only one form.

Oke let me try 2 explain;

I have a database and for data entry (via switchboard) the analist use 2 forms; one of them (form 1) is based on a query (which has table 1 as source) because it includes calculations which are calculated the moment they enter certain data. The 2nd form is also based on table 1 but includes other info. The problem I encounter now is that I can enter data in form 1 and by opening form 2 I can find the number that correspond with what I entered in form 1 but when I am finished entering data (in form 2) I cant save it because it tells me that there is a duplicate error of index enz...
I think that the problem lies in the fact that the data from the 2 forms can not be saved in the same table (table 1). What is the best thing to do?
I hope u can help me out.....
:(
thanks in advance
