3021 no current record (1 Viewer)

Hello group,

I have a customer who is receiving a 3021 (no current record) message.
The message occurs when the user clicks on a patient's name in a dropdown list. The dropdown is populated with a query accessing the patient table. The information for the selected patient should display on a bound form with a record source of the patient table.

The patient table is in the backend db on another PC.

The underlying software is Access runtime 2007, SP2.

The same software is running correctly the other PC. If fact it runs successfully on dozens of installations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea what the issue may be, but as a start I would have that user
shutdown and reboot, and try again. Since it's only one user, it doesn't seem systemic.

I'm on a one man PC and every now and then I get hung up just submitting to AWF.

Reboot or now close the browser and restart seems to work. Go figure>>>>


Trying a google search on 3021 shows that possibly

- the table is empty
- perhaps no check on BOF or EOF on a Table
- possibly, after a MoveNext there is code and you are at EOF
