Greetings. I don't even know if this is possible, but what I'd like to do is have a list, separated by commas, generated on my report for each checkbox checked on the form. So a question on the form could be "Check the movies you own." Then on the report, each box that was checked would be listed, but the ones not checked would be left out. Is this possible? I am using A2003. Many TIA!

This question makes me hesitant toward whether this db is normalized. Let's close our eyes and pretend it is. I would do some fields in the query builder, and name them each movie, and then do IIf (field1 = 1, "moviename", "") for each movie field. From there, on the report, just put an unbound field that would say =[moviename1]&", "&[moviename2]&", "&[etc]

This may not be perfect, but its a start at something to try building. Let us know how it works out. :D

James,

An idea for setting this up:

tblMovies:
MovieID - AutoNumber
MovieName
MoveDate
OtherStuff

tblPeople:
PersonID - AutoNumber
LastName
FirstName
OtherStuff

tblInventory:
InventoryID - AutoNumber
PersonID - (Points to people)

tblInventoryDetail:
DetailID - AutoNumber
InventoryID - (Points to Inventory (Person))
MovieID

Need a little form to maintain tblMovies.
Need a little form to maintain tblPeople.
Need a Master-Child form/subform to maintain tblInventory & tblInventoryDetail

Looks complicated at the start, but lets you track unlimited
people/movies.
