Hi everyone,

I have a new problem in my database which despite searching through the posts here, still bugs me. As a tip, I read somewhere that Access needs the relationships set up property, to be able to determine what to do and where to do it when updateing a record in a query result...

I have a query that is based on tables and other queries. When I run the query, I cannot update a field of any of the records. It is possible however within the table which the query is based on, to update a record.
But when I do it within this query, I get the error "Recordset cannot be updated" in the status bar of Access. The strange thing is that 1 week ago I could do this - since then I added more fields to the query...could this be the problem?

What is causing this? Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks and keep up the good work everyone who helps out here!

J
