Aaargh - I've left a field out of a report

Based on a query. Under the properties of the report I can see all of the fields included, but I can't edit in my missing one. Please tell me there is some way of doing this without starting from scratch!.

Can't you just add the field to the query and save it.
Then open up the report in design view and add the field (drag and drop) from the field list?
You will then have to re-size things and get the font right etc. A bit fiddly but usually eminently practical.
You don't usually have to go back to square one.

No, the uderlying query is fine. I am missing the field in the source list from the properties of the actual report.

Do you mean that when you click on the icon for the field list it isn't there?

Did you call it something different in the query?
Is the check box on the query ticked? (if it is unchecked I think it becomes invisible)

It is then it might be worth compacting and repairing the database in case there is a wee corruption.
