Hi,
When I import (or link to) a dbase III .dbf table, the numeric fields come up as being integers (no decimal part ).
Opening the same .dbf with Excel works fine, the numeric fields showing
their decimal part.
I tried this out, just to test:
"Control Panel/Region And Language/Change..number format/Aditional Settings" and I switched Decimal Symbol from "," to "." and Digit Grouping Symbol from "." to ",".
With these settings, the .dbf numeric fields start showing their decimal part, no doubt, but, of cource, Excel and the other apps get confused...
From this experience, I think I have some kind of problem with my Access configuration, I just cannot figure out what's wrong with it.
Any sugestions ?
TIA
Antonio
