Access 2000 Runtime

We are having some problems running an Access 2000 Database using Access 2000 Runtime on a Windows 98 PC, the problem is that when the user tries to add or delete a record it says 'Can't go to specified record'. This problem only occurs when running on a Windows 98 PC and works fine in Windows 2000.

Should Access 2000 runtime be able to run on Windows 98? if so does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Access Runtime will work on Win98.
Runtime is quirky though. I have had issues with some routines working and then not.

Nero thanks for the reply, have you or anyone else came accross the error we are getting? 'Can't go to specified record'. This must be something to do with Windows 98 as it works fine in 2000 and XP, ive tried searching on the Microsoft site but no joy there.

If anyone can help i would appreciate it as i have no idea what to do next.
