Access 2003 and 2007 on same machine

I just installed Office 2007 and kept my 2003 version. When running access I get the windows installer each time I switch versions. If running Access 2003 everything starts up normally but if I switch to a file in Access 2007 the windows installer wants to configure and install access 2007 before it opens. If I switch back to access 2003 file the same thing happens with the windows installer. Does not happen with any of the other office products. Any ideas why?

This is just one of the quirks of having both Access 2003 and 2007 installed on the same machine. There doesn't seem to be anyway of avoiding it except just to use one version all the time.
