Hi guys,
just after some opinions, I have around 8 -9 years experience with access 2000 -2003 and have written various control systems for companies I have been employed by over these years and consider myself reasonably competent using VBA, form building etc and can develop quite quickly using access 2003. my question is:
I have had a 2 - 3 hour "play" with access 2010 and have found nothing thats makes me go wow or even think its worth the effort to learn a new interface and way of working to make the change worthwhile. I am about to build a commercial program using access that will be distributed as a runtime to buying users and my gut feeling is upgrade now, get over the pain barrier and in the long run you will be better off. But.....
Nothing makes access 2010 seem worth the effort - I am just being negative because none of us likes change really or can anyone say they have upgraded and it has been really worth the time.
like I say just after opinions or experiences
Thanks
Dean
