Access 2003 switchboard & workgroups?

Is there a way I can use the workgroup's group permissions to restrict access to selected switchboard's options? Ideally, I'd like to supress displaying selected options based on the CurrenUser's group permissions. Failing that, I'll settle for a 'you can't do that' message, if an option is picked that is not permitted.

Can this be done from the tools? If not is there an example of how to do it programatically via VB?
