I have several pop-up forms that were created by a contract programmer. I do not like the colour scheme (theme) used.

I have tried using the Layout View and Themes to change the appearance of the forms but to no avail. I cannot get them to change to the standard Office colours and fonts.

I have tried copy them into a blank database and asking the Office Theme to be applied to all related objects but the Pop-up form does not change colour.

Any suggestions.

These forms contain several command buttons attached to VBA code.

Thank you.

If the forms were imported from an older application, they will be treated as custom and not changed when you change the database theme. You could try changing all the settings to conform to those used by forms that are theme compliant. At a minimum, you will need to change the background and font for each form section and control. I have not found any easy way to take old forms and make them respond to themes.

Thank you for your input. I suspected what you have said but was hoping that I had missed something.
There are 6 or 7 forms that are not compliant, so I think what I will do is make new forms, add the controls and link the new controls to the existing code.

That way they will work with Themes in the future and it will probably take about as much time as going through all the property sheets for each area of the offending forms.

Thanks again for your response.
