Hi there, I need to clarify a few things concerning access 2010. I developed a system using access 2007 and it is working alright. However, I recently upgraded to office 2010 and i was thus trying to use my system in it. However, following that I need to package the software for new users, do i need to find access developer extensions for access 2010, plus access runtime environment for 2010 or should I use those in 2007.
If I package using 2010, and create the setup files, will they work perfectly in other machines? I know that is the work of the runtime environment, but I need to hear from you, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Thank you

If you are distributing the runtime, I would suggest always going with the latest Access version. If you have existing users, they will need to uninstall their A2007 runtime before installing the A2010. I don't know what happens if you try to install one over the other. It is always safest to uninstall.

The package and deployment wizard always expects to be working with its actual Access version so if you are developing with A2010, that's the runtime you want to bundle.
