Access and Excel- help!!!! (1 Viewer)

Hi ... I'm in desperate need of assistance and am looking for a kindly somehone to assist me.

Kay, here's my problem: I have produced a pretty slick database at work and have made it active. Unfortunately, my boss believes in doing everything in Excel. Because, he says, for one, you can't really Email Access reports as they are, and others may want to take the data for their own manipulation and don't have access (no pun intended) to the database, blah blah blah.

I know I can convert Access reports to .rtf files and it maintains MOST of the formatting (losing all the lines is a pain though), but it's Excel that I want. Every time I export to Excel it puts all the subreport data off to the side and I have to add in titles and formatting, etc, etc. Is there any way to more fine-tune how Access exports reports? Could I export ONCE, move the fields around in Excel and set fonts, borders and titles as I like, and just UPDATE that file even though it has one-to-many relationships in it?

This is causing me major problems ... any assistance would be appreciated.

Please and thank you,

Bal.
