The fourth Access Europe User Group meeting for 2026 will be on Wednesday 1 Apr (April Fool's Day) starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM). Please note that the UK will have changed to summer time (UTC+1). For local times, please check World Time Buddy

This will be the 50th meeting for the Access Europe User Group since we started back in March 2022

In this session, we are very pleased to welcome back fellow UK developer, Peter Cole (definitely no fool!)
Peter will demonstrate using the vbWatchdog - Global Error Handler and Tracing utility from EverythingAccess together with his free vbWatchdog Unleashed system.

vbWatchdog
• a unique error handling system for VBA projects
• No binding to any dll’s. All of vbWatchdog is contained in 5 class modules.
• Comparing vbWatchdog and standard VBA error handling code
• Why line numbers are clutter in code. Dynamic line numbers in vbWatchdog.
• How did I arrive at the error? Showing the Callstack.
• What variables were in scope when the error happened, and what values did they contain?
• Existing error handling works with no modification.
• How it works by using the Global Error Handler procedure
• Using an Access form to display error details.

vbWatchdog Unleashed
Consists of 3 Access accdb databases with the following aims
• Make it simple for any developer to add with zero learning time
• View past error messages
• Simply adjust what is logged

I hope you will join us on Wed 1 Apr for this special event.
