Access looks up record instead of adding new record

When I open my form to create a new quote, Access initially creates a new record for it as it should. It then identifies this record by the quotenumber. This works perfectly. However, when I select a customer in the next textfield, the form starts looking up the corresponding record for that customer, but it is not supposed to do that as later on, 1 customer can have multiple quotes.

Please help
