access query syntax list

Hi !

i am an access newbie. I have just purchased the Access 2002 Inside Out book, by Helen Feddema and i have found it to be very useful.

I am currently looking for a syntax list, for lack of a better description. My job requires me to do monthly queries and reports and it is taking me along time because of my trial and error way to designing queries, so i am looking for a syntax list of words to use.

Can anyone help please?

I would have to admit that it would be nice if there was a booklet that just contained the syntax, but they tend to be really spread out through out most books and many are jumbled by pieces of examples.

Anyway, if you're looking for Query syntax (since it sounds like you will be running a lot of queries), just type SQL in the Answer Wizard of your MS Access Help File! You'd be surprised at all of the information. If you look up INNER JOIN, or SELECT you'll find little to no results, but amazingly enough when you type SQL, you'll find everything that you need on Query syntax.........okay...well....not everything, but enough!
