I had just received an update (I believe to the entire 365 suite), and since then my Access (2016) will randomly close when clicking on something. Doesn't have to be anything in particular and just clicking within the program seems to cause it. It doesn't appear to be crashing, just straight up closing.

Has anyone else had this issue recently?

Other versions do this too. If repair/compact does not work, you can try building a new blank db (on that pc), then import all objects/relationships,etc from the 'old' app.

I had 1 db , even after ALL the fixing, STILL not run on THAT pc. There was something in conflict on that pc, yet the app ran fine all all others.
good luck.

Reboot - sometimes bits of the update stay "in process" until you restart.

It had never done this up until my 365 was updated a day or two ago. It seems to do it maybe twice after a reboot, then doesn't do it. Maybe its a problem within windows.

Which version, build number and bitness of A365 do you have?
Version 2008 (Build 13127.21064 Click-to-Run)
Should be 64 bit.

IIRC there was an issue with version 2008.
Try updating to the latest version - something like Version 2012 Build 13530.20316

I can try. I believe all of our updating is handled by IT and I have no ability to update anything within the 365 suite.
