I am sure this subject has been broached many times bfore, sorry to start a new thread if that is the case but....

I have created (as I'm sure most of us have) some very nice reports in Access. However there are times when someone for whom I have created a database requests the ability to email those reports to someone from within the Access program. My issues are; when it converts to RTF it loses formatting and becomes less easy to read. I understan the snapshot viewer unfortunately we are talking about recipients who do not have Access and do not understand what the snapshot viewer is or how to find it install it etcetera. They confuse easily and then they don't all do it and the process breaks down.

I would love to make my Access reports Word documents without losing formatting and just be able to send that as an attachment. Does anyone know of a plugin or anything one could purchase that would assist in creating a Word document from an Access report?

Or any good solution to the dilemna?

Thanks!

I have not yet seen anything for converting MS Access reports into a decent word format documents in any form. However, I do know that it is possible to convert access reports into PDF format documents. Would this be of interest?

It would be of interest as long as it is user friendly. As it is now I can make it so a user can click a command button that will send the report in RTF or SNP. If it could send it in PDF from the command button also that would be preferable, if they had to print it to a PDF printer and then attach that to the email it might become to cumbersome.

What do you have?

Thanks, I will check it out.
