Hello one and all! (",)
I am a complete newbie to the world of access and though I may have no problems creating basic tables and forms it is the more intricate stuff that i need to get a grip with. But that will come in time I am sure.
In the mean time, I do have a question to ask;
Is it possible to create a button in an access form that will open outlook 2003, create a new email, and propogate the email fields in outlook with data from the form?
I am writing a small database to handle correspondence for a company I have started working for and one of the things we need to do is email certain project managers a soft copy (pdf) of the received correspondence.
The project managers are denoted by there initials on the form, seperated by commas. I will have a table with the initials and the corresponding email addresses.
EG:
On Form = Project Managers - JS, JB, SN
In Table = JS = joesmith@mail.com
JB = joebloggs@mail.com
SN = Suenoname@mail.com
I would very much like a button on the form that can open outlook, populate the 'to' field with the proper addresses and pass through some other info for the 'subject' and 'content' fields.
Is this possible?
Thanks a million in advance,
Ildanach
