I have a dbase that I created as a project for work to track system performance and it has grown into a tool that is used by about 100 users. It is written in access and the dbase is split into a frontend and backend with the backend installed on our local server. The problem I'm faced with now is that access does not run well with remote users accessing data (very very slow) I have looked into sql servers and looking at what it would take to convert then I found a program called Aplha five very simple dbase program that will allow you to convert an access database to alpha five format and even create web forms so that data can be recorded remotely using a web server. So now for my question do anyone know anything about alpha five?
Is it really what they are selling it to be? or will I end up with a bigger mess than what I currently have?

Thanks for the help

Jon
