I am making a relational database using access for a newsagent for my A Level cursework. The owner has several customers who require a newspaper on different day. So on my table i have made a tick box (Yes/No, Data Type) for days Monday - Sunday. In another table i have the newspaper name with the prices. I want to be able to add up all the ticks for one customer so that i can multiply it byt the cost of paper that they order. Please can someone help me.

What if the customer orders different newspapers that are priced differently?

Access

Im not going into much detail. im jus allowing the customer to order one newspaper. so for e.g Mr Smith chooses to order the Star on Mon, tues and sat only. he can only choose one type of newspaper. so i simply use my drop down and find The Star, the price then shows up, so wot i need is for the price of paper to be multiplied occurdingly to the amount of boxes i have ticked. - will i need code and if so i will have to ask for it as i am really stuck
