Hello. This is my first post here. I'm working with a legacy version of Access that supports OLE Objects, but it's running in Windows 10. Before, I was able to embed a WAV sound file in a form and activate (play) it with a macro, not with a Visual Basic module. I guess it was a hack way to pass values to the old Sound Recorder API somehow? But now this same action causes Access to open Windows Media Player, which I don't want. Any ideas as to how to just get it to play again? I'm basically using the macro to SetValue of the OLE Object's Action value to 7, which "magically" triggers the sound to play in pre-Vista Windows.
