acViewReport vs acViewPreview sizing

I have a report that looks perfect when opened with acViewPreview.

I have added a button to the report so that the user can print directly from the report. I have also added a 'Close' button right below it. I have set the 'Display When' property of both buttons to 'Screen Only' so they won't be printed. However, in order to view the buttons, I now have to open the report in acViewReport mode and it is far too big for the window it is contained in.

Is there any way to resize or zoom when opening the report with 'acViewReport'?

Or is there a way to open the report with 'acViewPreview' but NOT print the buttons?

All interactive elements used in report view such as buttons and hyperlinks are not available in print preview or when printed
