Thanks for explaining what you meant, I did look up that abbreviation on the net but still wasn't sure.

I just thought the article was interesting in that it has found new scientific evidence that modern mankind being descended from one man and one woman alone is now considered a plausible theory and in fact genetically possible.

In my personal opinion, what's happened over time is a little more along the lines of this: Christians believe the Bible is true, and are skeptical of evolution because it doesn't seem to match up, although there have been some modern developments of science which have indicated the two may be compatible. At least, some people interpret it that way. So science slowly but surely catches up to the bible.

But I'll admit, it's all a matter of perspective and ALL of the available theories require plenty of faith.

Though my non-religious beliefs are well known, there is a bit of evolution that cannot be denied. Human DNA may or may not point to Adam and Eve being our ancestors - but mitochondrial DNA points to either a unique Eve or a very few people (i.e. same tribe) as being our common ancestor(s) on the matrilineal side of the family tree.

Man created the theory of evolution based on interpretation of evidence they saw and probably seeing.

Biology teaches that for everything that reproduces, there is always an original member at the top of the family tree, there are some infallible proofs that point to the accuracy of the bible in some instance.

The word "infallible" has no practical application in the world of science. A proof is either valid or it is not. "Infallible" is in essence an "argument from authority" and cannot validly mix with rigorous proofs.
