Hello,

I have a form to save some invoice's informations ( Id, Date, Amount etc)

But the process is time consuming:
1) Receive invoices from Outlook.
2)Add them to a spesific network shared file manually
3)Rename them to invoice_id.pdf

At first can i "upload" them from the ms access form directly to the folder and also rename them at the same time?

I don't see why you can't. Are you using an Attachment field or just storing the file path as text? The Name As command can be used to rename a file.

Well, the name of the pdf files is random, ie 9873419912371.pdf .

I first want to put them in a specific folder and then change their name so that their final is the id of the invoice (invoice_id.pdf)

So first I am looking to find a way eg to drag it to the form and it will automatically go to the folder I want and then change its name to invoice_id.pdf

Hmm, "drag it to the form?" What happens now when you do that?

Why not do it in outlook?
