I have created three simple functions AveNumber(), MaxNumber() and MinNumber().

They are all contained in a module named My Functions

The module is saved as MBC_Functions.mda

A. It's possbile to install MBC_Functions as an Add In in the Module tab by Tools, Reference and searching for the mda

B. In the Query tab under Tools, Add Ins MBC_Functions is then available although it doesn't appear necessary to use this option if A above has been used.

The functions can be used after step A above but MBC_Function does not appear in the Expression Builder (it did once when I was using trial and error to get the Add In to work) so it's necessary for the user to know what function to use because it's not listed.

How can I get MBC_Functions to display in the Expression Builder? Is USysRegInf the key? From the MS web it seems that USysRegInf is only for wizards and menus not for functions.

What is the purpose of the Tools, Add Ins menu option? If installed via Tools, References an Add In seems to perform the same task i.e. the former seems superfluous?

Help please.

Thanks
