We would like to have on our Main Form 2 sub forms.

Could I please receive assistance in placing a second sub form form onto our main form
Main Form = Investments_Purchases_SalesF = which already has a sub form
Current Sub Form = Investments_Purchases_SalesF_SubForm

The second sub form I would like to add below the current sub form on the main form is
= Investments_Purchases_SalesF_SubTrading

Should we leave the calculations on the sub form
= Investments_Purchases_SalesF_SubForm
or should the calculations be placed after the = PageBreak107 on the main form
= Investments_Purchases_SalesF

Thank you for your assistance.
Crystal

Thank you June7, but I have not been able to find the Add Tab in MsAccess 2003 that we use.

Hi Crystal
Your 3 tables do not have any referential Integrity set ?

How are these tables supposed to be related?

You have the same Primark Key "Investment_ID" in all 3 tables?

Hello Mike60Smart
How would you suggest to link the tables as the Symbol_Stock and the Stock_Name are / can be used many times for each separate transaction?
Thank you
Crystal

Thank you, Minty.

I looked for this control MANY times but could not find it until to-day.

Nicole
Hi Nicole

Each table should have it's own Primary Key ie Investments Table is InvestmentID
You then have 2 related tables and each of these will have their own PrimaryKey ie
Sales Table is InvestmentSalesID
Trading
Table is InvestmentTradingID

Now if you look at the Relationship Diagram you will see that InvestmentID Primary Key is linked to both of the other tables on InvestmentID Foreign Key

Hope this helps?
