Adding a line above subtotals/totals

I would like to have the subtotals display with lines above - can't figure it out. Like this:

detail Rec 1 100.00
detail Rec 2 20.00 <------
footer - subTot 120.00

I though it would be somthing in the properties of the footer, but I don't see anything that does this. Thank you -

Maybe I'm missing something. Why don't you just place a line in the footer right above the subtotal control (text box)?

Ok, I can do that - I though maybe I was missing something and there was a more programmatic way to do this. Thank you!
