I need to take a copy of my main data table before various updates are applied to it by the user. Before running queries and applying the updates, I have a macro which runs a make-table query to create the main data table. I would like to be able to save dated versions of this main data table e.g. "Data 190209", "Data 200209" etc.
Is there a way I can incorporate the Date function into the Make Table/Table naming process?
I am not hot with VB so am looking to a simple solution within the front end of Access.
Any advice is gratefully received.
