Iam trying to add a new entry in a table using a form.iam a newbie in ms access.can someone pls help me...

Under the objects list on the left hand side of the MS Access interface select tables, from the list of tables highlight the table that you wish to add records.

From the standard menu bar across the top of the screen select "insert" and from the list of options select "autoform" and a wizard will create a new form for you.

Along the bottom of the form you will see a record navigation bar, on the far right is a button marked with an arrow and a star like this ">*" click this button and you are in the add a new record mode.

form entry

ok.but now i want to add a new customer in my form and i want my table to show this new entry.how do i do that?

Once you have created the new form follow the instructions above and that will create a new record in the form and this record will be automatically added to the table the form was generated from.
