Adding only certain data

I'm just wondering if there's a way for me to do this. I am putting together a timeline for a particular story I'm writing, and so I have a table consisting of dates, and events. In addition though, I need to have two types of data, as there are to be 2 separate timelines. Basically on my table I have added 2 yes/no fields, one for each timeline. The reason I did this, is that a particular event can be on one or the other, or both. In short, I need to be able to print each separately, while keeping them both on the same table for ease of keeping. So I was thinking of making a query, but I need to figure out how to exclude data that has a certain value in it (i.e. if data 1 has yes, include it in the query, while if it has no, then don't). Would I be better off trying to define this in the report rather than the query? I hope I've gotten what I'm trying to say accross, if you have any more questions then just post them and I'll try to keep up to date here.

Look up the Where condition of the OpenReport method, there have been numerous examples posted here, or post back if you need further help

You're on the right track and, as Rich pointed out, manipulating the WHERE clause is what's going to make it happen.

I've attached a small sample (in Access 97) that illustrates the use of an option group, with underlying code, to filter what you see in a form, and an attached report.
