Guys i need help ! :mad:

I have a real frustrating problem that i can't fathom.

I have an database with a simple form with a listbox. I am trying to add an option group of 2 options that will change the rowsource of the listbox to look at 2 different queries. Seemed simple enough, but....

After i added the option group and added the event procedure (on click), similar to this

if me.frame1 = 1 then
me.listbox.rowsource = qry1
else
me.listbox.rowsource = qry2
endif
me.listbox.requery

I then tried to put the form back to form view from design view. Access crashed with an error "Not enough memory to blah blah blah". I was in Windows 7 Ultimate with Access 2003 SP2.

Thinking this was just a spurious crash i reloaded but the same happened. So i reloaded again and figured i'd save the form before switching back to form view from design view. Instead of crashing with the memory error it just 'crashed and closed' !!!

A little more investigating i found the same happened if i added a checkbox....it crashed again !

Maybe Windows 7 doesn't like my database or access 2003 in general so having a dual boot i rebooted back into XP (where all this DB work has been done). I added the option group & tried to save before switching to form view........but yet again access crashed !!!!

Can anyone tell me if i'm doing something wrong or shed any light on this very strange problem. ?

I am now going to create a new blank database and import the necessary table, query, form & report to see if the same happens - this is bizarre !

:confused: Help would be gr8ly appreciated.
