Aligning Text Boxes in a row

I have a Form in Access 2010 that has text boxes with the text box label sitting on top of the data field. There are several of these, they're all the same height, and I want them to butt against each other without any gaps (to make it look like adjacent horizontal cells in Excel). What a pain! Even with the Snap-to grid turned off, I'm having a terrible time just getting three of them to align.
I don't see a way to Zoom in in the Form in Design view, and the hilight around the object obscures the edges. I tried adding up the [from] Left and the Wide measurements then adding a hundredth, but Access rounds up rather capriciously and I'm wasting time fiddling with thousandths of an inch. There's got to be a better way!

Anybody overcome this situation?

WHat version? IN A2007 you have the Arrange menu on the ribbon dedicated to stuff like this (while in Design of the form) , and in most verisions also a right click menu that allows to do "stuff" with selected controls.

You just select the x textboxes, and eg say Align Left, and they will "butt".
