I have just spent a good hour trying to find out how
to change color on alternate rows on continuous forms. There
is a lot of information but I could not apply any. I would
like to change the color on alternate rows for continuous
forms and also forms in datasheet view. I do not know if I
should post this as two posts or one. I do not want to use
conditional formatting as I do not want the controls to
change color only the background. Does anyone have any
good suggestions or examples? Continuous Forms and Forms
in datasheet view both. Thanks in advance.

What about having an unbound texbox all the way under your fields so the textbox forms the background and apply the conditional formatting to the background of the textbox.

Then make a copy of the form and format it so that it looks like the data sheet display and have a macro/code open that form and set MoveSize so it exactly overlays the first form.
