Another DSNless question

My dsnless database runs just fine on my laptop, but cannot make the odbc connection at all on my desktop. Both computers are 32 bit Win 7 computers, running Access 2010. Neither has the data source set up through the ODBC Data Source Administrator. What to do?

I apologize. I first posted as a part of a discussion of my current connection problems, and was told not to include the question there but to put it in a separate post. Can't seem to do the right thing
