Another problem....

Ok keep it simple. I have a combo box.

are assigned from tables values.

They select a value.. and I do alot of magic on the form for formatted data entry... (Too long to explain why)

I need to assign a value to this combo box, based on another combo box selection.

Reason being they are uploading a file, and I need to do all the formatting over again... While I could re code this all... there is an awful lot of coding..... Mind you I would have been done by now.

Why can I not assign a row to this CB based on my criteria!?!?!?

I have used all three values that should meet the requirement... but alas to no avail.... help....????

I mean ....

I can open a global recordset and use these values I would attain through runsql based on the parameter I attained from the second combo box....

Call the other procedure and only add a few lines of code and be done with it.

But this seems lame... can I not assign the value of a combo box based on a user selection elsewhere on the form!?

First combo box. required selection.

Second combo box, attains the value Costco......

Yet I can not assign Costco to Combo box one, nor does assigning value one.

Solved.

Was bound column ..... Needed to change it and assign cosco to it thereafter.

so if anyone ever searches this problem to better explain.

Cosco was column 2 . Bound column was 0 . And object was limited to list.

So after changing bound comumn to 2.

I could assign cosco to it.

Again sorry for wasting time, hope this helpes someone someday...
