Hello Forum,
I have a mailing list database that I need to add records to via an append query. I pull the new records into a temporary database off the web so they can be standardized, etc. There is no primary key in the temporary table, just the same fieldnames as in the main table. When I append to the main tble my autonumber field jumps some 300000 records. Any ideas? I was performing this action before and it worked flawlwessly. Since then, Access security has been set up which neccesitates pulling from the database that you are logged in to as opposed to appending from the temp. database. Any help would be appreciated.
