I have specific naming conventions for my files. When saving for the first time, I get the Save dialog box. I navigate to the folder where the file will reside, single click on a file name that uses the same naming convention then change a single character or maybe two, then save. This time, I accidentally doubleclicked on the existing file name, and Word executed the Save, overwriting my previous document.
These files aren't critical, but I now have an incomplete set of work for this two-year project (This save was to be the LAST one! They may never be referred to again, but I always try to keep a complete set to assuage my anal-retentive nature.
Is there any way of recovering the prvious version of my now overwritten (or is it overwrought...?) document? Thanks for any help!
