AS400 Connection Causes Access to Crash

Hi,

I'm using Access to pull data from an AS400. This works great but if I wait more than several minutes between querying the AS400, when I attempt to query again, Access crashes and gives me an error message.

Does anybody know why this occurs and how I can prevent it from happening.

What error do you get?

My first thought is that your link is somehow being dropped between Access and the AS/400, but without seeing the error message, it is hard to tell WHAT is going on.

Also, until we see what it trying to tell you, it is hard to say how to prevent it.
