I'm making a database for a local remote control car club, What I want to do is to automatically assign points to drivers based on their posistion and different points schemes. For example in Point sceme 1, there would be 5 points for coming first, 3 points for second, 2 points for third and 1 points for last. (there are only 4 laps in a race).
Another feature that I am struggeling to implement is a system to work out who comes first based on the the race time of the participants, the race time is the sum of the laps for the participant in a race, there are 4 laps and whoever has the smallest race time wins. (Unless they do not complete 4 laps).
I've attatched my database so you can see where I am coming from.
Any suggestions, comments would be welcome.
