Attempting to modify a query

I am trying to modify a query that is a subreport to a main report, but when I try to save my changes, I'm getting an error message that says your changes cannot be made because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time. I am the only person who has access to this database. I do not understand why I am getting this error message. Thanks in advance.

Try opening the database exclusively to see if you get the same message.

You should also compact and repair it.

Compacting my database cleared up my problem. Much Thanks
