AUTO TEXT CHANGE (c) TO THE COPYRIGHT SYMBOL

i am typing (C) into a text field in a table. When I have entered it, is changes to a copyright symbol (a circle with a c inside). How can I stop this.

Click Tools > Autocorrect Options and remove the line that has "(c)" in it.
