Hi,
I've only really done the basics with Access so please help.

I have a query showing all active (Yes/No) records and have a form based off a table. There is a blank date field which users can modify.
I'd like it that if a user modifies a date, it will change the Yes/No value in a tickbox in the same table.

Can you better explain how this is to work? From your brief description it sounds as if the Yes/No field might be unnecessary. Be more specific about the field names of everything and the rules for how this yes/no box work?

The form is for users to amend sales proposals and only shows active proposals based on the Yes/No.
I want them to enter a date when the proposal is won and for that to trigger the Yes/No to be set to No.

Then the Yes/No field is unnecessary. There's no need to have a field that tells you if there is a value in another field. Simply look at the first field itself to see if there is date in there.
