Automatic Field Update

How do I get the form to automatically update certain fields that is pulling data from another table?

I have cascading combo box in place whereby the user will select a State. The very next field is the County correlating to the State. Both the State and County pulldowns have a control source of the County table. The issue is when the user goes directly into the County table and adds/revises the county and or state information, then they go into the Provider Information form and the county and/or the state fields have not been updated based on the changes/addtions made in the County table.

I feel I should write some code and place it in the Form-On Load and Form-On Current.

Also, the user wants to see the updated info when they go from one record to another in Provider Info form.

Stacy,

The bottom line is that the state combo "drives" the
county combo. Use the AfterUpdate of your state combo
to set the county combo to "" and set its RowSource to
"Select ... where state = ".

That way they can't just write a county into another
state.

An alternative is to base the county combo on a query that
has the state name as a criteria.
