automatically copy fields

Is there a way to press a button on a form to go to a new form and automatically fill in data from one form to the other? E.g. orderID in form1 then press to go to form2 and have orderID (same field) entered automatically??

In the default value put

=[Forms]![form1]![OrderID]

when i try this it returns #Name?

ooops sorry my mistake I added brackets where i didnt need any. it works fine,
