Automatically Fill In information

I have a form and table for new coil that has the Gage (size) and Width (size) of the coil.

I then another form and table that has the Gage (size) and Width (size) of used coil.

The New coil is the main form and the used coil is the subform. I would like for the Gage and the Width field to automatically be filled with the new coil information when someone goes in to enter information as to how they used the coil. Can this be done and if so How?

What do you mean by "used coil?" Does that mean the coil "Width" to be used when a specific "Gage" has been chosen?

If so, you can have a combobox in the subform that is a list of "Gages" that when a specific "Gage" has been chosen, it will populate a bound textbox with the correct "width" of the coil.

This can be done with AutoFill.
